All About Me

My name, Seòras, is Gaelic for George. My family all hail from the Isle of Skye:- My Mother's family from the west coast of the island near Talisker Distillery and The Fairy Pools and my Father's side from the south of the island where my Grandfather was a gamekeeper for Lord MacDonald.

Having grown up in Skye and Lochalsh I moved away from the area and spent time in Glasgow, Edinburgh and London before I could no longer resist the call of the Highlands and returned home. I live in Inverness with my partner of 11 years, our 8 year old daughter and Millie the dog.

When I'm not touring I enjoy fishing. I'm also a fan of the Highland sport of shinty - Ask me more about the "Game of the Gael" you might get an introductory lesson!!
